Talk to the hand: Prince Hassan of Morocco dodges meet 'n’ greet kisses

Talk to the hand: Prince Hassan of Morocco dodges meet 'n’ greet kisses

Crown prince Hassan Moulay of Morocco has taken a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book and decided to shake it off, having clearly become sick and tired of meeting other dignitaries.

In the North African nation, it remains customary to kiss the hand of members of the royal family when introduced to them, but 12-year-old Hassan was having none of it when he inspected this guard of honor.

He’s not the only kid who fails to “respect his elders” when it comes to following handshake protocol.

Former Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard was famously pranked by a Chelsea mascot in the tunnel ahead of their Premier League match.

Handshakes with famous folk are not always straightforward, as US Secretary of State John Kerry found out to his cost when meeting Hollywood actor Ben Affleck.

A UK comedian created an online sensation for his video La Bise, which complains about the French tradition of kissing hello.
